Melissa Dawn Temple

Melissa Dawn Temple, age 25, of Houghton Lake, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. She had lived in Houghton Lake since October of 2006, formerly of West Branch. She attended Ogemaw Heights High School and was active in the Swim Club and the French Club. Melissa is survived by her daughters, Reese and Regan, both of Houghton Lake, her parents, Tim and Laurie (Treat) Temple, her brother, Matthew Temple and sister Melanie Temple all of West Branch. Also surviving are her grandparents, Jean Temple of San Diego, CA. and Eveline (Jim) Heim of West Branch. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Charles Temple and Robert Treat. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday, January 26, 2007 from 5-9 p.m and Saturday from 2-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 28, 2007 at the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church in West Branch. Rev. Richard Pemberton will officiate. Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2007 at Brookside Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
