Maxine Mae Neubecker

Maxine Mae Neubecker, 83, of West Branch, passed away on April 13, 2013 in Holly, MI. She was born on August 24, 1929 to Ray and Metta (Hayner) Bravender in Flint, MI. On November 5, 1948 she married the late Roy Neubecker and the two lived in Holly, MI until 1987 when she retired from Consumers Energy and they moved to West Branch. She and her husband spent many winters in Bushnell, Florida. Maxine was a member of Red Hat Society of Florida and the Eastern Stars. She enjoyed playing cards, sudoku puzzles, feeding and watching the birds, watching the squirrels, golfing, baking, sewing, and collecting cooking recipes. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Maxine is survived by her Son - Bruce (Charline) Neubecker of Holly, MI; and Daughter Teri (Dennis) Noel of West Branch, MI; Grandchildren - Heath Neubecker, Brian (Shawn) Neubecker, Angie (Bernie) Sperling, Tammie (Marc) Noel, and Bruce Neubecker Jr. Great-Grandchildren Bailey, Logan, Kyle, Adison, Brady,and Avery. Sisters in law, Josephine Neubecker, Sharon Neubecker and Donna (Rau) Neubecker and her beloved dog Rosie. She was preceded in death by her Husband Roy Neubecker in 2000, her Parents, Ray & Metta Neubecker, brothers, Robert and Glen Bravender, daughter-in-law, Sherry, her in-laws Leo Neubecker, Ray Stephens, Ray Neubecker, Gladys Stephens, Robert Neubecker, Frances Neubecker and Vern "Cork" Neubecker. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2013 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Homes, Inc., West Branch, MI. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 11:00 am at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel J. Stoneback, officiating.
