Maxine J. Crawford

Maxine J. Crawford, age 71 of West Branch, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 with her family by her side after a courageous battle with ALS. She had lived in West Branch since July 2005, formerly of Goodrich and Harrison. She was a member of St. Athanious Catholic Church in Harrison and she enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family. Maxine is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Wally Crawford of West Branch, children, Ron (Marie) Crawford of Goodrich, Debbie Crawford of Gaines, Dennis Crawford of Clio, Tom (Michele) Crawford of Davison, Randy (Gwen) Crawford of Allen Park and Joyce (Mike) Nixon of Linden, 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and her brothers, Bill (Mary Ann) Beck and Rick (Roberta) Beck both of West Branch and Don (Linda) Beck of Bruces Crossing. She was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday, February 16, 2006 from 1-8 p.m. with a Scripture Service being held at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot will officate, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
