Maxine H. Calvin

Maxine passed away at her home after and extended illness. She had been a resident of West Branch since 1980, formerly of Monroe. She worked for the West Branch-Rose City Area Schools for 5 years, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed her home and family, oil and water color painting, stained glass work and music. Maxine is survived by her husband, Larry Calvin of West Branch, children Sherry Calvin of West Branch and Larry Calvin of Monroe, grandsons, Joshua, Matthew and Shane, a sister Patricia (Russell) Tompson of Tifton GA and brother Dale (Carol) Fox of Plano, TX. She was preceded in death by her father Malcom. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday January 31, 2004 at the Ogemaw Hills Free Methodist Church 3480 West M-76 in West Branch. Rev. Sterling Demond and Rev. Victor Schreffler will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Mid-Michigan Visiting Nurses and Hospice or to the family.
