Maudie O. Barber

Maudie O. Barber, age 87 of Rose City, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Bortz Health Care of Rose City. Maudie was born August 4, 1925 in Rose City, the daughter of James and Dollie Sheppard. She had lived in Rose City for most of her life. Maudie is survived by daughters, Janet (Ed) Moorhouse of Tawas, Julie Steinhauser of Rose City, grandchildren, Teena, Tracey, Trista, Travis, Tobi, Justin, Hope, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Barber and son, James Barber. A Memorial Service will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 1:00 pm with family receiving friends from 12:00 pm until time of service. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate. Burial will follow at Lane Heights Cemetery in Lupton.
