Mary Ruth "Ruthie" Reedy

Mary Ruth (Ruthie) Reedy received her angel wings on December 1, 2011 at the age of 72. Mary was born August 25, 1939 in Hazard, Kentucky to Joseph and Mary Catherine Roberts, one of 6 children. After marrying Donald G. Reedy, they moved to Michigan and had three sons, Michael, Steven and Philip. She was a longtime resident of West Branch. She retired from West Branch Regional Medical Center West Branch, Michigan in 2003. In 2008, Mary moved to Minot, North Dakota to be closer to family. While living in Minot at Henry Towers, she became very active with the Meals on Wheels program. Mary is survived by her sons, Michael Reedy and Steven (Kimberly) Reedy, 5 grandchildren, her sisters, Tina King of Clinton, ME, Ellie Coulter of Westminster, CA and Jean Roberts of St. Albans, WV and her many friends at Henry Towers. She was preceded in death by her husband, son Philip, her parents, sister Phyllis and brother Dean. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at the Steuernol and McLaren Funeral Home, in West Branch, Michigan, with burial at Indianfields Township Cemetery in Caro, Michigan.
