Mary Louise Mallory

Mary Louise Mallory, age 66, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI. She was born on January 23, 1958, in Flint, MI, to Fred and Emma (Kasbohm) Carper. Mary lived in Hale, MI since 2010, formerly of Montrose, MI.

She married Dennis Mallory in Flint on August 17, 1985.

Mary found joy in serving others as a cashier at Target and as an assistant librarian at Carter Elementary School in Montrose. Her dedication and compassion towards her work endeared her to both colleagues and patrons.

Outside of work, Mary found solace and happiness in her hobbies and interests. She had a creative spirit, enjoying crafts, reading, playing games on her phone, and spending time with her cherished cats Lilly and Mandy. In her leisure time, she also relished visits to the casino, finding excitement in the games of chance.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Mallory; her son Kevin (Cassie Arntz) Mallory; mother Emma Carper; and brothers Al (Heather) Carper and Gary Carper. Mary is also survived by her brother in law, Terry Miller, and leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who held a special place in her heart.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Fred Carper, her brother Gil Carper, and her sister Nancy Miller. Their memories will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved Mary.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Mary Louise Mallory will be remembered for her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and the love she shared with those around her. She will be deeply missed and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
