Mary Lynn Fox

Mary Lynn Fox, age 77, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022 at MyMichigan Medical Center in West Branch. She was born on August 27, 1944, in Royal Oak, MI to Arnold and Wilma (Gage) Quigley. She married Frank Fox in Selkirk on June 26, 1965. They were married for 53 years. Mary graduated from West Branch High School in 1962.

Mary had a passion for her work in sales, advertising, and real estate; she never stopped. She was an active, engaged member of the community her entire life. She was a devoted member of the church as well as the Ogemaw County Fair, where she served as a board member for 13 years. Along with holding positions on several other fair committees.

She was a talented musician, primarily percussion, viola, and trumpet. She loved to travel, frequently to Seattle and recently to Ireland with Lena, Lauren, and Madison. She was a loving grandma, mom, and friend to all.

Mary is survived by her son, Anthony (Robert) Fox of Seattle, WA; granddaughters, Lauren (Garrett Schafsnitz) Fox of Grand Haven and Madison (Jack Wheatley) Fox of Ann Arbor; daughter-in-law, Lena (Fred McGill) Fox of Frankfort; brothers, Les (Rose) Quigley, Ron (Gail) Quigley, and Mike (Patti) Quigley, sister-in-law, Cheryl Quigley, all of West Branch; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Wilma, husband, Frank, son, Richard, and brother, Terry.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 2–8 p.m. On Sunday, June 19, 2022, visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12–2 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Selkirk Cemetery. Cindy Gibbs will officiate.
