Mary L. Karafa

Mrs. Karafa, age 86, passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. She had been a resident of Hale for most of her life. She was a member of the Busy Bees and the Zion Church of the Brethern in Prescott. Mrs. Karafa is survived by her children, Steve (Betty) Karafa of Oklahoma City OK, Charles (Mertie) Karafa of Swartz Creek, Kathleen (George) Fabera of Hale and Douglas (Gail) Karafa of Henderson NV. 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, 1 step great-great grandchild and her half brother, Jack (Patty) Belanger of Prescott also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Steve and her grandson, Jonathan. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday May 20, 2004 from 1-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Pastor Donald Wolfgang will officiate with burial following at Logan Township Cemetery.
