Mary L. Johnson

Mary L. Johnson, age 65 of West Branch passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. Mary had lived in West Branch since 1996, formerly of Lupton. She enjoyed sewing and ceremics and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Mary is survived by her husband Clarence Johnson of West Branch, children, Larry (Heike) Weston of Ramstein, Germany, William (Tina) Weston of Bay City, Kevin (Lynn) Weston of Callaway, MD, Patricia (Chris) Hebert of Rose City, Kimberlee (Matt) Scott and Shawn (Krystal) Weston both of Lupton. 14 grandchildren, Jennifer, Anthony, Kelsi, James, Katie, Cody, Dylan, Claire, Ashley, Christopher, Keersten, Megan, Zachary and Gavin and a great-granddaughter Marie. Also surviving are her brothers, Robert Thiemke of Florida, Franklin Thiemke of Rogers City and James (Ethel) Thiemke of Alger and her sisters, Virginia (Harry) Muxlow of Brown City and Anna Mayer of Allenton. She was preceded in death by her brothers Richard Thiemke and Fredrick Thiemke, her sister Lillian LaPrade and her parents, James and Mabel Thiemke. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 until the time of the Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
