April 4, 1915 — May 3, 2005

Mary Kay Fox, age 90 of West Branch, passed away at her home. She had lived in the West Branch area since 1974. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, The West Branch Senior Center, The National Rifle Association, The West Branch Chamber of Commerce, The 2000 Ogemaw County Fair Queen, The Grand Marshall of the 2000 West Branch Christmas Parade, was the first inductee into The Ralph Steinhauser Smiley Hall of Fame as Miss Smiley 2000, and she was a life member of The National Sheriff's Association. Mary Kay contributed to numerous philanthropic, charitable and political organizations. Mary Kay is survived by her children, Joseph (Linda) Sueta of Clarkston, Mary Kaaren Jolly (Joseph A. Grant) of Warrenton, VA, stepsons, William Fox of Rochester and Robert (Margo) Fox of Port Huron, 17 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph S. Sueta in 1969 and Matthew W. Fox in 1988, her stepdaughter, Rita Jungwirth, grandsons Michael Fox and Matthew Fox, her brothers, Tony, John and Frank Plesivec and her sister Elizabeth Nameth. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Thursday May 5, 2005 from 5-9 P.M., Friday from 12-9 P.M. and Saturday May 7, 2005, from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday May 7, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot, Fr. Richard Seifferly and Fr. Daniel Fox will officate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands or the St. Joseph School Endowment Fund both of West Branch, to The National Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice.
