Mary Helene Shoup

Mary Helene Shoup, age 89, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her home in Rose City, MI. She was born on August 5, 1928 in Grant Township, MI to John and Helen Paliwoda. She attended Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and enjoyed fishing and going to garage sales.

Mary is survived by her son, Ilie Istratie of Rose City, MI; sister, Janie Dash of Troy, MI; and niece, June Dash. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Carl and brother, Robert Paliwoda.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Lane Heights Cemetery. Deacon Glen Painter will officiate.
