Mary Ann Peters

Mary Ann Peters, age 89, of West Branch, passed away at her daughter’s home on Thursday, October 5, 2006. She had lived in West Branch for a short time, moving from St. Helen where she had been a resident since 1969. Mrs. Peters is survived by her daughter, Janet Groulx of West Branch, daughter-in-law, Bonnie (Ron) Kasper of Bay City, granddaughters, Debbie (Jeff) Maslin of Bay City and Tami (Kevin) Lee of Essexville, 6 great-grandchildren, Christopher and Kayli Maslin of Bay City, Baylee and Brandi Middleton and McKenzie and Hunter Lee, 2 step-granddaughters, Marsha Bailey of Midland and Karen (Tony) Dybas of Pinconning, step-great grandchildren, Brenda, Steven, Bridgett, Michelle, Rhonda, Troy and Brandy and 12 step great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murl, children Charles, Betty and Gerald, parents, Michael and Theresa Reff, brothers, Martin, Fred, Peter, John and Frank and sisters, Catherine, Susan and Betty and her close friend Earl Patterson. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2006 until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Dan Stoneback will officiate with burial following at Woodmere Cemetery, Standish, Michigan.
