Marvel Marie Green

Marvel “Midge” Marie Green, age 90, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the Medilodge of Sterling in Sterling, MI. She was formerly of Canton, IL and Arizona.

Midge was born in rural Peoria County, IL on April 6, 1931 to Carl and Marvel (Branchfield) Beasley. She lived and worked in Arizona from 1958 to 1997 mostly doing office work. She enjoyed NASCAR, the “gambling boat” and eating out. She moved back to Canton, IL in 1997 until 2019 when she moved to West Branch to be cared for by her family.

Midge is survived by her sons, Robert (Brenda) Brindley of West Branch and Jerry Brindley of Waco, TX; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, D. Joan McClelland of Canton, IL and Amy Dugan of Indiana, and brothers, Raymond Beasley of IL and Harry Beasley of MI.

Per her wishes, there will be no service and cremation has taken place.
