Marlene R. Lacoursiere

Marlene R. Lacoursiere, age 76 of West Branch, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at her home. Marlene had lived in West Branch since 1992, formerly of Warren. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the C.C.W. and she enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting and animals. Marlene was a devoted wife and mother. Marlene is survived by her husband Narcisse “Nick” Lacoursiere of West Branch, children Lisa (Raymond) Lacoursiere Skierski of Shelby Township and Paul (Krista) Lacoursiere of Warren, her grandson Paul Narcisse Lacoursiere and her brother Dino (Norma) Vecellio. She was preceded in death by her daughter Marion Lacoursiere. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 3-8 p.m. There will be a C.C.W. Rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. On Monday, Marlene will lie in state at Holy Family Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Patrick Maher will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
