Marlene D. Schroeder

Marlene D. Schroeder, age 73 of St. Helen, passed away at her home. She had lived in St. Helen since 1969, formerly of Berkley. She enjoyed bingo, charitable services, crafts and the Senior Center. She helped with Tip Up Town and she made cookies for the fire departments. Mrs. Schroeder is survived by her son, Arnie Schroeder of Roscommon, grandchildren--Walter Partlo, Amy Schroeder, Heidi Moore and Joseph Partlo and her great-grandchildren--Jonathon and Joseph Moore and Gage and Renette Partlo, and her sister Cecelia Hamady of Lake Station, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold "Tex" Schroeder and her daughter, Peggy Partlo. Visitation at the St. Helen Community Baptist Church in St. Helen will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday April 2, 2005 until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. Pastor Ken Peterson will officate with burial following at Fairview Cemetery, St. Helen.
