Marleen Kay Barton, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at her home in St. Helen, MI. She was a beloved soul known for her caring and friendly nature. She was born on December 2, 1942, in Havre de Grace, MD, to her parents Ivan Main and Ann (Gabrick) Main. Marleen lived in St. Helen since 1972, before moving to South Carolina for the past five years. She recently moved back to St. Helen in December 2023.

Marleen dedicated 20 years of her life to Specialized Pharmacy, where she served as the manager of records before retiring. Her commitment and dedication left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of working with her.

Beyond her professional life, Marleen was a woman of many passions. She was a great artist, finding solace and joy in creating beautiful paintings. Her love for animals was evident to all who knew her, and her gentle spirit extended not only to people but to all creatures great and small.

In her leisure time, Marleen enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She found peace in the beauty of beaches, the tranquility of the outdoors, and the unlimited worlds that opened up through reading. These hobbies reflected her appreciation for the finer things in life and the wonders of the world around her.

Marleen is survived her daughter, Stacey Kistler, her grandson Jeremy Delamater, her granddaughters Tiffany (Terry) Conlay and Michaela Barton, as well as her great grandsons Evart and Jameson, and her brother Marvin Main.

She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved son, Rocky Barton, and her great granddaughter, Jhavia.

Marleen's absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will continue to live on in the memories and hearts of those who loved her. May her kindness, creativity, and love for life serve as a guiding light for us all as we remember and honor her remarkable journey.
