Mark J. Illig

Mark J. Illig, age 49 of West Branch passed away Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. Mark had lived in West Branch for all of his life and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus #2022. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, bowling, fishing, playing cards and football. Mark is survived by his son, Michael Illig of Bay City, his parents, Walter and Janice Illig of West Branch, his sister, Lynette (Bill) Beitz of Jacksonville, FL, his brother, Greg (Jane) Illig of West Branch, nieces, Kristie Langdale and Nicole Ricketts both of Florida and Pamela Illig of Wray, CO, and his nephews, Scott Gildner of Royal Oak and Brent (Megan) Illig and Brian Illig both of West Branch. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Sunday, May 14, 2005 from 11-9 p.m. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. and a Rosary at 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2006 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot and Fr. Richard Seifferly will officiate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Branch. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
