Mark C. Wangler

Mark C. Wangler, age 53, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 at the West Branch Regional Medical Center. Mark loved to hunt, fish, and spend time with his children and grandson. He is a 1976 graduate of Ogemaw Heights High School. Mark is survived by his long time girlfriend and soul mate Tammy Partlo of West Branch, children Carrie Grant and Scott Wangler both of Clio. Step-son James Thaxton Jr. of West Branch, and grandson Malachi Grant. Brothers and sisters Gary (Barb) Wangler, Gayle (Ray) Adams, Kenneth Wangler, Gloria Schmitt all of West Branch and Beverly (Bill) Sedlock of Norwalk, OH; also surviving is a brother in Law Thomas Howard of West Branch and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Dennis & Marie Wangler and sister Karen Howard and Brother in Law Bob Schmitt. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Monday, September 19, 2011 from 2-9 PM. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Rev. David Wolfe will officiate with burial following at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Branch.
