Mark C. Huntley

Mark Christopher “Wheels” Huntley, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region in Bay City, MI. Mark has lived in St. Helen since 1971, formerly of Bay City. He was born to Melvin and Mamie (Townsend) Huntley on August 29, 1960 in Pontiac, MI. Mark was an active volunteer with the Fire Department in Richfield Township, St. Helen Helping Hands, the Blue Gill Festival and 18 years with men’s fast pitch softball. He was a member of CERTS, American Legion Riders and American Legion Post #416. Mark also enjoyed hunting and riding his Harley. Mark is survived by his wife, Lisa Huntley of St. Helen, MI; children: Mark (Cynthia) Huntley II of St. Helen, MI, Matthew (Angela) Huntley of Coldwater, MI, Merritt “Mickey” (Jenna) Huntley of St. Helen, MI, Monica Huntley of St. Helen, MI; grandchildren: Maddie, Cloey, Augustin, Sophia, Easton, Emersyn, Charlotte; brothers: Melvin (Nana) Huntley of FL, Michael (Cindy) Huntley of Flint, MI, Merritt (Sheryl) Huntley of WA; sisters: Melinda (Skip) Dericks of VA, Meleah (John) Powser of Albion, MI; and mother: Mamie Huntley. He is preceded in death by his father, Melvin and sister, Michelle Huntley. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, May 16, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Barry Brown will officiate.
