Marjorie Hoffman

Marjorie Hoffman, age 76, passed away Saturday September 4, 2004 at Hilltop Manor Health Care Center in Roscommon. She was a resident of St. Helen since 1982, formerly of Saginaw. Mrs. Hoffman enjoyed gardening, helping with charity events and volunteered for the past 20 years with the 8 & 40 American Legion Auxilary Post #416 in St. Helen. Family survivors include her son Larry (Cathy) Hoffman of Treasure Island, Florida, daughter Susan Campbell of Cincinnati, Ohio and daughter-in-law Nita Hoffman-Harris of St. Charles, MI. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, sister Evelyn (Doug) Armstrong of Kalkaska, brother Bob (Nancy) Stricker of Evart, brother Jim (Beth) Stricker of Dunedin, Florida and sister Sandy Stierheim of Alger. Mrs. Hoffman was preceded in death by her husband Arthur and son David. Funeral services at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral home in St. Helen will be held on Tuesday September 7, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. unitl the time of the service. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands.
