Marjorie E. Wangler

Marjorie E. Wangler, age 80, of West Branch passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Friday, September 21, 2007. She had lived in West Branch for most of her life and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Ladies Aid. She enjoyed cooking, baking, playing cards, shopping, camping and traveling, people watching and she loved to play jokes. She especially loved her grandchildren, she was strong willed and was an inspiration to all. Marge is survived by her children; Brenda (Bob) Brindley, Randy (Sue) Wangler, Allen (Vicki) Wangler, Greg (Laurie) Wangler, Ann (Scott) Colclasure and Mike (Jeanie) Wangler, 14 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren with a set of twins on the way. Also surviving is her brother, Gerald Brick of West Branch, her sister in law, Mary Brick of Garden City and her special care-givers, Claudia, Colette and Pat Beasley and her Heartland Hospice nurses. She was preceded in death by her husband Bernard on August 21, 2007, her parents Joseph and Cecilia, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 5-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 12-9 p.m. with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 24, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in West Branch. Fr. Robert Bissot and Fr. Richard Seifferly will officiate with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorial Contributions be made to the St. Joseph School Endowment Fund or to Heartland Hospice.
