Marjorie E. Oyster

Marjorie E. Oyster, age 80 of Lupton, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. She enjoyed baking, cooking and spending time with family and friends. Marjorie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Lloyd "Red" Oyster of Lupton and their children, Joyce (Wayne) Gould and Joseph (Bernadette) Oyster both of Lupton, Susan (Bob) Maddox of Bowie, TX, Larry (Rhonda) Oyster of Waurika, OK, Jean (Kim) Card and Russell (Gloria) Oyster both of Rose City and Linda (John) Pruett of Jacksboro, TX. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Weaver and a great-grandson, Brett Mayhew. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 from 1-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at the funeral home. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officate with burial following at Lane Heights Cemetery, Lupton. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
