Marie M. Miller

Marie M. Miller, age 92, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2020 at her home in Lupton, MI. She was born on June 12, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Ed and Marie (Jeske) Katzberg. She lived in West Branch for most of her life. Marie was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch and the Red Hat Society. She retired from Taylor Door in West Branch. Marie enjoyed her flower beds, going to the casino, playing bingo and traveling.

Marie is survived by her daughters, June (Ray Short Jr.) Lincoln of Lupton and Doris (Ray Brasseur) Winslow of Cheboygan; 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Sharrow of Lupton; and her special pet, Snoopy. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph; daughters, Bonnie and Nancy; sister, Evelyn Miller, and special friend, Robert Carolan.

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Selkirk Cemetery. Pastor Paul Ruediger will officiate.

Visitation will be held with precautions, due to the current pandemic, limiting the number of attendees at a given time.
