Marie Jean Booth

Marie Jean Booth, age 87, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Mercy Manor in Grayling, MI. Marie was born in Detroit, MI on February 23, 1927 to Frank Henry and Elizabeth Christina (Sinclair) Bourbeau. She married Foster Fay Oacron Booth on October 19, 1946. They moved to Flint, MI where they raised their family. She worked for General Motors and retired to St. Helen, MI in 1984. Marie was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen, St. Helen Civic Association, American Legion Auxiliary, Friends of the Library, and the West Branch Regional Medical Center Auxiliary.

Marie is survived by her children: Kathy (Evan) Ritchie of Rochester Hills, MI, Judy (Tom) Burnash of St. Helen, MI, Pam (Ed) Nelson of Grand Blanc, MI and Randy (Debbie) Booth of St. Helen, MI; grandchildren: Leisa (Tom) Niemkiewicz, Marci Howey, Tracy (Marty) Jones, Jeremy Nelson, Meghann (Larry) Aremia, Brandi (Jeremy) Lucke, Michael (Robin) Ritchie, Andrew (Rachel) Ritchie, Julie White, and Megan Stewart; and many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death in by her husband of 60 years, Foster Booth, parents, Frank and Elizabeth Bourbeau, and grandson, Brett Ritchie.

Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen, MI will begin on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris, MI on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 with a Graveside Service at 11:30 a.m. Rev. Rodney Morrison, Pastor, will officiate.
