Marie A. Burgher

Marie A. Burgher, age 88, passed away at Bortz Health Care in West Branch. She had lived in West Branch all her life. She received the honor of Mother of the Year, and was a member of Ladies Alter Society and League of Catholic Women. Marie loved to dance, sew, listen to music, and embroidery. Marie is survived by son, Carl (Margaret) Knepfler, daughter, Phyllis (Marvin) Gooding, son, David (Sandy) Knepfler, son, Ronald Burgher and Cyndie Stillwagon all of West Branch. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, Michael and Rachel Knepfler, husband, Clarence, and 4 grandchildren. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin Monday September 12, 2005 from 1-9 P.M. with a Rosary being held at 2:00 P.M. and Scripture Service at 8:00 P.M. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday September 13, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fr. Robert Bissot and Fr. Richard Seifferly will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
