Marian Marie (Moss) Yenglin age 77, of Saint Helen, Michigan, was called home on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at her residence. Born to Earl and Ruth (McClellan) Moss on May 6, 1947, in Youngstown, Ohio, she was the oldest of three. Marian married Leonard LeRoy Yenglin Sr. on December 18, 1964. They had been together for over sixty years.
Marian (Tudy to close friends and relatives) was an avid and creative baker who loved making special desserts for friends and family. She loved bowling, bingo and her family. Later in life she opened her arms to rescue dogs from the Hairy Houdini Siberian Husky Rescue, Kinsey, Rocky and Phoenix were by her side at the end. One constant you could count on was that her smile and laugh would brighten any room! She was that neighbor and friend who was always ready for coffee and a chat.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard Sr. and their four children, Leonard Jr, and his children, Alexander, Kurtis, Elyssa and Isabella: Natalie and her children, Gemini and Amanda; Nathan and his sons, Michael and Landon; and Samuel (Elaina) and their daughter Ayla. Her siblings, Tomee (Ceci) and her five daughters (Karee, Ellen, Barbara, Laura and Dee Dee), and George (Rhonda) Moss and their three daughters (Samantha, Chelsey and Michael-Anne). She also had five great grandchildren: Aiyana (8), Norah (6), Aurora (4), Hunter (2) and Hadley (1) as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ruth Moss; her father and mother-in-law, Merle and Agnes (Thorman) Yenglin and her brothers-in-law, David Yenglin and Alred Ceci.
Her viewing will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Saint Helen. Her service will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
