Margarey R. Lauria

Margarey R. "Marjorie" Lauria, age 81, of Rose City passed away Saturday October 30, 2010 at Bortz Health Care in Rose City. Margarey had lived in Ogemaw County since 1955. She enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and was a bingo player. Margarey is survived by her son, Floyd A. (LeAnn) Lauria of Owosso, MI, daughter, Sally (John) Nichols of Sterling, daughter, Diane Miller of Lupton, son, Jess R. (Linda) Lauria of Wyoming, MI, son, Dave A. (Chris) Lauria of Higgins Lake, son, Jack E. (Lucille) Lauria of Hale, son, Duane (Diane) Lauria of Whittemore, son, Mark (Brenda) Lauria of Jacksonville, N.C., son, Donald Lauria of Sterling, and daughter, Peggy (Raymond) Rogers of Jennings, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and sisters, Bernice Douglas of Auburn, Leona Lazarowicz of Kawkawlin, Shirley Yoder of Midland, and Joyce Buchanan of Midland. Margarey was preceded in death by husband, Jesse Lauria, sons, Roger and Leslie Lauria, brothers, Raymond, Allen and Jerry Hill, and sister, Delores Lazarowicz. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City will begin Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 11:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm. Chaplain Sharon Koenitzer will officiate.
