Margaret Meyst

Margaret “Bunny” L. Meyst nee Umbel passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 in West Branch, Michigan, she was 54 years old. Bunny had lived in West Branch since 1990 previously from Madison Heights. She belonged to the Eagles # 3646 and the Moose Lodge # 2051 both of West Branch. Bunny is survived by her loving soul mate Benny Meir of West Branch, daughters Beth Meyst of West Branch, and Wendy Meyst-Nelson of Roscommon. 3 granddaughters Topanga Nelson, Alyssa Nelson, and Hailey Laier and 1 grandson Braedan Nelson. Brother Robert (Jean) Umbel, sisters Shirley (Richard) Biddle, and Gale (Patrick) Michalski. There are 5 nieces and 1 nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents Ivan and Grace and a sister Elizabeth Weiler. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 23, 2009 from 2-9PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The funeral will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM at the funeral Home. Pastor Daniel Stoneback will officiate. Memorial Contributions can be made to the family.
