Margaret M. Moroz

Margaret M. Moroz, age 83 of St. Helen, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Bortz Health Care of West Branch. Margaret had lived in St. Helen since 1979, formerly of Detroit. Margaret was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, C.C.W., American Legion Auxiliary, and St. Vincent DePaul of Roscommon. She worked for Bortz Health Care in the early 1980’s. Margaret enjoyed Bingo, quilting, baking, basketweaving, golfing, bowling, and needle point. Margaret is survived by her husband, Ed Moroz of St. Helen, daughter, Beverly (Gary) Bacalja of Oxford, daughter, Sue (Gregg) Haskell of Houghton Lake, daughter, Debra Goodman of Ann Arbor, daughter, Michele (Matthew) Jernigan of St. Helen, seven grandchildren, Stacey, Scott, Todd, Amanda, Hannah, Nathan, Caleb, and one great granddaughter, Brittany. Also surviving is sister, Marie Standish of Rochester Hills and brother, Frank (Lillian) Kliebert of Plant City, FL. She is preceded in death by parents, Michael and Anna Kliebert, brothers, Nick and John Kliebert. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin Monday, September 12, 2011 from 2-9 pm. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Helen Catholic Church on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at 11:00 am with visitation from 10:00 am until time of mass.
