Margaret L. Greene

Margaret L. Greene January 29, 1922 – June 16, 2012 Margaret L. Green, age 90, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at her home in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She has been a resident of Kalamazoo since 2010 and previously resided in St. Helen since the late 1970’s.Margaret was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in West Branch and attended Calvary Bible Church in Kalamazoo. She is survived by one sister Frankie Helms of Kalamazoo and two brothers, Nathaniel Cole of Taylor and Norman Cole of Plymouth and 13 nieces and nephews Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Jewell “Ray” Greene in August of 2010 and her parents Elbert & Mary Louise (Hardwood) Cole Mrs. Greene’s funeral service will take place on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday starting at 12:00 PM until the time of the service. Pastor Tom Teall will officiate her burial will take place at the Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen, Michigan. Memorial donations are suggested to the Calvary Baptist Church of West Branch or the Hospice Care of Southwest, Michigan in memory of Margaret Greene.
