Margaret Ann Meir

Margaret Ann Meir, age 92 of West Branch, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2006. Formerly of Flint, she had lived in West Branch since 1946. Margaret was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She enjoyed catering, cake decorating, sports and she had a green thumb. Margaret is survived by her children, Barbara (John) Morlock of Collinsville, IL, Margaret (Ruben) Arceo of Flint, Lois (Don) DeLong of Placentia, CA, Conrad Meir and Julie Meir both of West Branch, Mary Jane (John) Schnautz of Rose City and Rose (Paul) Steeger of Owasso, OK, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy R. Meir. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Saturday, April 15, 2006 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. There will be a Scripture Service at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday .The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 17, 2006 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Klacking Creek. Fr. Miro D. Wiese OFM will officiate with burial following at Holy Family Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Joseph School or to the Holy Family Building Fund.
