Madeline May Allen, age 84, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at The Villa at Rose City. She was born on September 28, 1935 in Royal Oak, MI to Leon and Leona (Reynard) Deneen. She lived in Rose City since 2016, formerly of Madison Heights. Madeline was a member of the MS Society and enjoyed gardening and singing.
Madeline is survived by her children, Joyce Hampton of Southgate, Carol (William) Blackburn of Mio and Jeff (Barb) Allen of Glennie; grandchildren, Matthew, Aimee, James, Valerie, Jeffery, Sandy and Veronica; great grandchildren, Melissa, Juli, Zachary, Nathanial, Reese, Aric, Rosaleigh, Raymond, Beckett, Austin, Kyle, Madison, Alisha, Cayden, Matthew, Brandon, Breanna, and Courtny; great great grandchildren, Lawrence jr., Mason, Ava, Amelia, Alivia and Austin Jr.; siblings, Joyce (Mike) Carroll of Dearborn Heights, RoseMary Spizek of FL and Murl Deneen of TN; and forever friend, Delphine Floyd of Lewiston. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ray Allen; son, James Allen; grandson, Christopher; great grandson, Hunter; and brothers, Jim, Bob and Karl Deneen.
Visitation at the Curtisville Baptist Church in South Branch will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Ted Jolls will officiate. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI next to her husband.
