Madeline Aleise Clark, age 92, passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at The Villa at Rose City. She lived in Rose City for a short time, formerly of Sterling Heights, MI. Madeline was born on December 16, 1928 in Smithfield, VA to Horace and Mary (Oleberry) Jones.
Madeline attended Southeastern University, a bible college in Lakeland, FL. She was an associate pastor and served at the Lakeside Assembly of God in Shelby Township, MI. Madeline helped found the church and taught bible study and Sunday school. She was involved with the women’s ministry, prayer meetings and lead worship. Madeline enjoyed gardening and serving the Lord.
Madeline is survived by her son, Robert Clark of Rose City; daughters, Vonnie Peach of NC and Cyndi Clark of Fort Worth, TX; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and brother, Bob Jones of Windsor, VA.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Horace Jones and Albert Jones, and sister Francis Jones.
Cremation has taken place.
