Mabel J. Lionts

Mabel J. Lionts, age 86, passed away Saturday March 26, 2005 at her home in Rose City. She had been a resident of Rose City since 1963, formerly of Hazel Park, Michigan. Mabel enjoyed crocheting, baking wedding cakes and loved her dogs. Family members surviving her in death are her daughter Beverly Martin of Bangor, Michigan, son Earl Lionts of Houghton, son Frank (Vivian) Lionts of Rose City, son Timothy Lionts of Bangor and daughter Rose (Dave) Monroe of Rose City. Also surviving Mabel are 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchldren, sister Lila Diemond of Madison Heights and sister Gladys Diamond of Bay City. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and sons Donald and Jerry. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2005 at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
