Lynn Michelle Schaefer

Lynn Michelle Schaefer, age 47, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 at West Branch Regional Medical Center. Lynn has lived in St. Helen most of her adult life, formerly of Highland-Milford area. She was born to Richard and Barbara (Trumph) Hill on November 12, 1966 in Wayne Co., MI. Lynn was VP of Helping Hands of St. Helen and VP or We Care of St. Helen. She loved volunteering her time for different organizations. Lynn enjoyed gardening, camping and spending time with her children and friends. Lynn is survived by her children: Brian P. (Lindsey Frock) Begley of Lapeer, MI, Allan J. Begley of Lapeer, MI, Amanda M. (Jordan) Laskey of Roscommon, MI, Brittney R. Schaefer of St. Helen, MI; spouse: Gene Thomas of St. Helen, MI; brother: John Hill of Frederick, MD; mother: Barbara Hill of Redford, MI; mother Kathi Hurd of St. Helen, MI; and siblings: Paula Vazquez of Chicago, IL, Kristen McClure of Gladwin, MI, Joe Pigeon of Roscommon, MI. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Hill and baby twins, Travis & Trevor Begley. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Kirk Havel will officiate.
