Lucille Frances Downhour

Lucille Frances Downhour, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at The Villa at Rose City after a somewhat lengthy illness. She was born on March 22, 1940, in Detroit, MI to Peter and Anna (Gaffka) Ardwin. She lived in Prescott, MI since 1997, formerly of Pontiac.

Lucy was fond of reading scriptures, traveling, dressing up and dining out, years with the Red Hats, and hunting rocks and minerals with her husband all over the country as well as Canada.

She had many beloved friends and a great fondness of formal teas, natural foods and remedies and beautiful music. She was spiritually strong and very convicted in her beliefs.

Lucy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Gary Downhour. Having both been previously married, they have children from those marriages and combined there are seven children, fourteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by a younger brother, Tom and younger sister, Rosanne.

Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Christian Memorial Cemetery West in Rochester Hills, MI.
