Lucille A. Otis, age 95, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 in Redford, MI. She had lived in St. Helen, MI since 1972, formerly of Detroit. Lucille was born on February 26, 1922 in Scranton, PA to Walter and Mary (Zarzecki) Stacey. Lucille was in the United States Marine Corps serving during World War II. She was a member of the American Legion Post #416 in St. Helen and the Women Mariner Association. Lucille was active in the St. Helen Catholic Church and the Catholic Council of Women. She was an avid Detroit Red Wing Fan.
Lucille is survived by her son, Thomas (Cathy) Otis of Garden City, MI; daughter, Anna (David) Wagner of Redford, MI; and 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond Otis, and sons, Joseph and Mark Otis.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at the St. Helen Catholic Church on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial of ashes will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI with Veteran Honors.
