Lora Jean D'Arcy

Lora Jean D’Arcy, age 63, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at her home in West Branch with her family by her side. She was born on March 21, 1959 in Bay City, MI to Donald and Mary (Donahue) D’Arcy. Lora lived in West Branch for most of her life.

Lora graduated from Ogemaw Heights High School in 1977. She enjoyed gardening, karaoke, and sunbathing. She cherished the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lora would sing to her grandchildren, “You are my sunshine”.

Lora is survived by her mother, Mary Gynp of West Branch; children, Scott Sharrow of Lupton and Kenda (Matthew) Colvin of West Branch; grandchildren, Brynne, Olivia, Annabella, Brayden, Zander, Cecilia, and Rebecca; siblings, Elaine (Andy) Brewer of West Branch, Ben (Kathy) D’Arcy of Alger, and Kathy (David) Avram of Alger; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Donald D’Arcy; son, Daniel Sharrow; and granddaughter, Trinity Sharrow.

A memorial benefit is being held at the Masonic Lodge, 191 Page St., West Branch on Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
