Logan Robert James Mills

Our beloved boy, Logan Robert James Mills, left us for new adventures on Friday August 28, 2020. He was born on September 7, 2006 in West Branch, MI to Karmen and Bradley Mills. He was preceded in death by his father and survived by his mother Karmen, sister Lauren , his bonus dad Lucas Gordon, grandparents Bruce Spitsen of Prescott, Sharon Spitsen (Greg) of Wales, Brian and Linda Mills of Clear Lake, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Logan was looking forward to starting his freshman year at Ogemaw Heights High School and had been training throughout the summer for cross country. He was very excited to have earned the opportunity to run varsity this upcoming season. Logan loved to sing and participated in choir. He also started playing basketball last year and was looking forward to playing again this year.

Logan loved life. His smile was contagious, bright, and beautiful. From the time Logan was a little boy he always had an iron will and had begun to learn to focus his energy on his hopes and dreams. Logan was very motivated to reach his goals and we were all looking forward to what he would do in the years to come. He loved to laugh and make people smile and had a robust sense of humor. He liked to hang out with friends and family, play games, and was constantly outside running, biking, and playing in his fort in his family backyard. He was a vibrant dresser as well. Logan was blossoming into a remarkable young man who touched everybody’s lives who knew him. As Logan would say, “I am Batman.”

Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Visitation will be held with precautions, due to the current pandemic, limiting the number of attendees at a given time.

A GoFundMe has been started and donations will go to the Logan Mills Memorial Scholarship Fund.
