Linda Lee Olson, age 68 of St. Helen, passed away Saturday, February 9, 2013 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor. Linda had lived in St. Helen since 1992, formerly of Flint. She was a member of the Civic Center Association and the VFW Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading and she loved Elvis Presley and John Wayne. Linda is survived by her children Donald DeWolf of Houghton Lake, LuAnn DeWolf (Mike Thompson) of St. Helen, Randy (Lynne) DeWolf and Robert DeWolf both of Bladenboro, NC and her grandchildren, Heather, Isaac, Steven, Ryan, Kenneth, Phillip, Geoffrey, Jarryd and Cory and her great-grandchildren Jessie, McKenna, Seth and Blake. Also surviving are her brothers Chester (Pattie) Olson of Flint and Earl (Kathy) Olson of Pittsburgh, PA; her sisters, Lou (Garnett) Johnson of Davison, Rosemary (Lee) Price of Fort Myers, FL, Barbara Zellner of Casper, WY and Pauline (Dick) Hartwell of Salsbury, NC and her best friend Darlene Moreau of St. Helen. She was preceded in death by her brothers Clifford, Junior and David Olson. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Rodney Morrison will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
