Linda Kay (Niedowicz) Leopard, age 70, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Munson Healthcare in Grayling, MI. She had lived in St. Helen, MI since 1970, formerly of Pontiac, MI. Linda was born on October 5, 1947 to Walter and Shirley (Byrne) Niedowicz in Pontiac. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary in St. Helen. She started doing hair when she was 39 years old and owned Linda’s Cut Above in St. Helen for 19 years. Linda was a Detroit Tigers fan and liked to watch game shows and her family play ball. She adored her grandchildren and loved to go fishing with her family. Spending them with her family was the most important thing to her.
Linda is survived by her son, Wally (Kristi) Sidelko of Prudenville, MI; daughter, Katie (Rick) Rutledge of Grayling, MI; grandchildren, Cameron, Cooper, Bailey and Brock; sisters, JoAnn Wojtylko and Nancy (Dennis) Wise, both of St. Helen; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in St. Helen will begin on Monday, December 4, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Pastor Ken Peterson will officiate.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the family for the grandchildren’s scholarship college funds.
