Linda Fay Booth, age 74, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at her home in West Branch, MI with her family by her side. She lived in West Branch since 2019, formerly of Elk Rapids, MI. Linda was born on February 5, 1947 in Beech Creek, KY to Duncan and Margaret (Shemwell) Vick. She married Ronald Booth on July 1, 1988.
Linda graduated from Huron High School and attended Northwestern Michigan College. She worked at Northwestern Michigan College for 12 years, Brevard Community College for 5 years and Turtle Creek Casino for 2 years. She retired in 2007. Linda enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, travel and writing poetry.
Linda is survived by her children, Lauri King, Jodi Morris, Kacey (Joshua) Scott and Charles “Bud” Rouse; grandchildren, Amanda King, Cara King, Karlyn Smith, Julia Stites, Tyler Morris, Ethan Scott, Eddie Morris, and Kennedee Morris; great grandchildren, Shawn Kool Jr., Braelynn Kool, Bentley Kool, Alaina Smith, Tucker Smith, and Weston Atkinson; siblings, Jerry (Linda) Vick of Merritt Island, FL, Ronald Vick of Lincoln Park, MI; Kathy (Michael) Manier of Taylor, MI and Terri (LJ) Smith of Newport News, VA. Linda is preceded in death by her, husband, Ronald Booth, nephew, Ronald Vick, and parents.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.
Interment will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Elk Rapids Village Cemetery in Elk Rapids, MI.
