Lillian M. Rice

Lillian M. Rice, age 88, passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center on Thursday, November 16, 2017. She had lived in Lupton, MI for the past 60 years. She was born on January 21, 1929 to Darkey and Tuts Fritz in West Branch. Lillian loved to volunteer with the Women’s Auxiliary for the Disabled American Veterans.

Lillian is survived by her daughters, Mina (James) Arntz of Mt. Pleasant, MI and Gloria Partlo of Lansing, KS; grandchildren, Joe (Barb) Rice of St. Helen, Theresa (Billy) Romej of Westland, Lawrence (Heather) Partlo of KS, Gina (Eric) Stechschulte of Owosso, and Jason (Angie) Arntz of Mt. Pleasant; many great grandchildren and one great great grandson; siblings, Mina (Bill) Brotherton of Houghton Hancock, Joan Reimer of Hale, John (Amy) Fritz of NJ, and Bruce Fritz of Lupton; daughter in law, Lois; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James; sons, Joe and Dan; brother, Steve Fritz; sister in law, Verah Fritz; brother in law, Al Reimer; and son in law, Otis Partlo.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.
