Leonard A. Langmeyer

Leonard A. Langmeyer, age 81, of West Branch, formerly of Utica, MI passed away Monday, July 14, 2008 at his home. Born in Delphos, Ohio on October 27, 1926, the son of Fred and Frances Langmeyer. He married Doris VanBreeman on February 4, 1950. Mr. Langmeyer was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church where he enjoyed being an usher. He was also a member of the Skidway Lake Moose Lodge. He enjoyed playing euchre, golf and spending time with his family. Survivors include his daughters, Deborah (James) McDonald of Casco and Sandra (William) Pash of Washington. Grandchildren, Christopher (Kristan) McDonald, Heather (Erik) Thomas, Brandon Sears, Brooke Sears, Michael McDonald, Stacey Sears and Jamie McDonald. Three great-grandchildren, Owen and Finn McDonald and Elyse Thomas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Langmeyer, his son, Dennis, 4 brothers, Eugene, Paul, Robert and Elmer and 2 sisters, Mary Ann and Joan. Visitation will be held at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 3-9 p.m. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Alexander Boruta . The Funeral will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Avenue, Rochester, MI. Fr. Tom Slowinski will officiate. The body will lie in state at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Christian Memorial Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, 335. E.
