Leona R. Louis

Leona Ruth Louis passed away Tuesday October 28, 2008 at her home in West Branch, she was 83 years old. Leona has been a resident of West Branch since 1976 previously of Detroit. She is a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch, and enjoyed crafts, BINGO, and bowling. Leona is survived by her 3 daughters Anna (Jeff Caputo) Wright of Kinchloe, MI, Fredricka (Vernon) Savage of Alger, and Joanne (Scott) Bennett of West Branch. Twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John in 1991 and a granddaughter Sarah Louis. Visitation for Leona will begin Thursday, October 30, 2008 for 5-8 PM at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch. The funeral will be held Friday at St. John Lutheran Church in West Branch at 2:00PM. Burial will follow at the Edwards Township Cemetery. Rev. Howard Travis will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
