Leon R. "Pete" Swartz

Mr. Swartz passed away at West Branch Regional Medical Center. He had lived in the West Branch area since 1945, formerly of Vassar. Mr. Swartz is survived by his children, Lori Leary of St. Johns, MI. and Peter (Joyce) Swartz of West Branch, grandchildren--Allison Leary of St. Johns, MI., Chanda (Art) Buck and Casey Swartz both of Bay City, Amy (Dan) Fransee of West Branch, Allison Gildner and Terri Gildner both of Birmingham, a great-grandson Tra Buck, a brother Stanley (Mary Ann) Swartz of Texas and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois A. McFall-Swartz and a sister Dorothy Korn. Visistation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will begin on Friday April 4, 2003 at 12:00 noon, with the funeral service following at 3:00 P.M. Rev. Dan Stoneback will officate. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands, West Branch.
