Leon Hilton Headley, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at St. Mary’s of Michigan in Saginaw, MI. He was born on October 21, 1925 in Brandon Township, MI to Jesse and Eva (Blimka) Headley. Leon served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post #416, VFW and the American Vets.
Leon is survived by his loving wife, Mary Headley of St. Helen, MI; children, Hilton (Patty) Headley, David (Linda) Headley, and Lisa (Scott Finney) Kuch; step children, Larry (Joann) Lightfoot and Rodger Lightfoot; 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; siblings, Raymond Headley and Jessica Williams; sisters in law, Hazel Headley, Barb Headley and Judy Headley; and brother in law, Bob Snyder. He is preceded in death by his parents, children, Ronnie, Fred, Jim, Philip and Rodney Allen; and siblings, Lola Valentine, Jerry Headley, Duane Headley, Nancy Snyder, Clayton Headley, Irene Headley, and Michael Headley.
A memorial service will be held at the Hope Lutheran Church in St. Helen on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Rodney Morrison will officiate.
