Leon Gehl

Leon Gehl, age 77, passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2006 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg, Florida. Mr. Gehl lived in West Branch for all of his life. He is survived by his wife, Neva Gehl of West Branch, children, Linda Hastings and Vickie (Charles) Kline both of West Branch, Gregory (Madonna) Gehl of Rose City and Jeffrey (Ellen) Gehl of Mason, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his twin brother, Leo Gehl and his brothers, Richard Gehl and Thomas Gehl all of West Branch. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Gehl. Visitation at the Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in West Branch will be on Friday, March 24, 2006 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a scripture service at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Gehl's funeral mass will be on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Robert Bissot officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Helping Hands or to the St. Joseph School Endowment Fund, both of West Branch.
