Lenore Rulla Mae Sheldon

On Saturday, February 23, 2019, Lenore R M Sheldon (nee Doyle) passed away following a lengthy illness, she was 81 years old and a resident of The Villa, West Branch, MI. Lenore grew up primarily in Flint and Houghton Lake, MI. After marrying the late Clifton J Somers, she moved to Clio, MI and began building her new family. She later moved to Vassar, MI and enjoyed a loving marriage with Burton “Buck” McCrumb until his passing in 1990. Both she and Buck, worked and volunteered for several years with the Tuscola County Commission on Aging--Vassar Senior Center.

She is survived by her current husband Guy O. Sheldon, of West Branch, MI, and she will be lovingly remembered by her children Deborah S. Loar; James A. Somers, Clio, MI; Corrine (Mike) Clayton, Hale, MI and her step-children: Linda (Steve) Mullin, Clio, MI; Beth Sheldon, Monette, AK; Dawn Sheldon, Idaho Springs, CO; Ellen Williamson, LaVista, NE; Bud (Jane) Sheldon, Grand Haven, MI and Tina (Kelly) McTaggert. Lenore will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Amber Somers, James (Traci) Somers, Susan (Foti) Magdalinos, Crystal (Nick) Rosconi and Brigid (Patrick) Xenakis. Lenore loved, and was loved by, a long list of grandchildren and great-grandchildren both biological and adopted into her life through marriage. Lenore was predeceased by her brother Jack Doyle.
